Lake Abrau

14 km from Novorossiysk is the largest freshwater lake in the Krasnodar Territory, which gave its name to the entire region and the famous sparkling wine factory. The name "Abrau" in translation from Turkic means "failure / collapse". In depth, the reservoir reaches 11 meters, its banks stretch for 3 km among the picturesque wooded slopes of the surrounding mountains. The river of the same name and small mountain streams flow into the lake.

Singing Fountains

The show of singing fountains in Abrau-Dyurso is a spectacular sight, for which it is worth visiting this place on the way to the Black Sea resorts. Cascades are located right in the lake not far from the shore. Performances are held in the evenings accompanied by musical accompaniment - jets of water rise rhythmically upwards in the rays of bright laser illumination. You can watch the show from the shore or from the water, sailing closer on a rented boat.

Abrau-Durso Park

Abrau-Dyurso Art Park is a small open-air creative space where modern sculptures and installations are located - interactive objects that need to be “launched” on their own. If you just look at the exhibits, you can hardly understand their purpose. Factory of sparkling wines

Abrau-Durso is one of the most famous producers of champagne and sparkling wines in Russia. The plant was founded in 1870 under Alexander II. After the appointment of Prince L. S. Golitsyn as manager, the enterprise experienced an unprecedented rise. At the beginning of the 20th century, experts invited from France worked in the production. The plant continued to develop and increase production in the Soviet and post-Soviet times, constantly expanding the range.

Shop "Grot"

In the "Grote" you can buy any product of the "Abrau-Durso" plant from inexpensive mass brands to collector's items. They sell not only wine and champagne, but also branded souvenirs. The store is a full-fledged sightseeing facility included in tourist routes: here visitors are offered tastings and are told about the nuances of the production of alcoholic beverages.

Media Art Center "MARS"

The center opened in 2016 on the territory of the plant. It is designed to demonstrate interactive images that have taken their rightful place in contemporary art. The first exhibitions were devoted to light installations by Russian and foreign audiovisual art studios, created using the latest equipment. When viewing a "live" exposition, the visitor is fully involved in the process.

An entertainment complex for the whole family, where interesting shows are held for spectators of all ages. The attraction is an upside down building, where everything is reversed: furniture and household appliances hang from the ceiling, and a chandelier sticks out of the floor. Despite the fact that the house is a tourist attraction, some visitors seriously want to live in it for a few days. The building has two floors and five rooms. The only correctly placed object of a strange structure is a staircase that can be used to get inside.

Church of Saint Xenia of Petersburg

The church in Abrau-Dyurso has existed since the beginning of the 20th century. In 1926, the parish was closed, and the building was adapted for living quarters. In the 2000s, at the request of local residents, the construction of a new temple began. The work was fully completed only in 2012, although services began already in 2009. The church has a Sunday class for children and a parish library where printed and video materials are stored.

Small Liman Lake and Abrau Beach

Lake Maly Liman (also called "Sweet Limanchik") is located a few kilometers from the village of Abrau-Dyurso on the Black Sea, it is separated from the latter by a narrow stone spit. On the shore of the reservoir is the beach Abrau Beach, which belongs to the tourist center "Abrau Durso". It is intended for guests staying at certain hotels, but anyone can enter it for a fee.
